We recently found out that Daredevil Season 3 was heading our way before 2018 closes out on us. Now we may just know who a key Daredevil Season 3 villain might be. A recent innocuous Instagram post may have spoiled the upcoming surprise of a Bullseye announcement.
Naqam Washington looks to be a trainer for Daredevil himself, Charlie Cox. A couple of days ago, Naqam posted an image to his Instagram account that showed himself working out with Cox and Wilson Bethel. The post has since been removed just this afternoon for reasons described below.
In November 2017, Bethel was cast in the upcoming 3rd season in the Netflix series as a series regular. Then, it was rumored that Bethel would be playing a Daredevil Season 3 villain by the name of Sin-Eater. But thank to Washington, Bethel may be playing an entirely different – yet iconic – Daredevil villain: Bullseye.
By looking at the hashtags that Washington chose with his post, it’s easy to see why we’re jumping to this conclusion. Naqam, while not the most official of sources, blatantly mentions Bethel as Bullseye. The duo’s trailer specifically mentions Daredevil Season 3, saying “The boys are working hard in the lab! Season 3 of Daredevil going to be crazy! #Daredevil and #Bullseye @wbethel”. Nerd Much? was able to secure an image of the Instagram post before it was removed from Washington’s account:
The fact that the post has been removed just lends further credence to the possibility of Bethel playing Bullseye. The Daredevil Season 3 villain is one of the hero’s most notably. He’s an assassin that has plagued Daredevil in the comics for years, known for his absolute accuracy. Their relationship could be comparable to Batman and Deadshot.
We’ll have to wait for trailers to see if our Daredevil Season 3 villain shows face. Otherwise, we’ll have to just wait until the back end of 2018 for the 3rd season to premiere.
