Nickelodeon has announced that they are teaming up with the streaming network VRV to bring a ton of their most iconic shows back to your television. The retro Nickelodeon channel is being branded as NickSplat and it’s essentially an all-star list of Nick programs from your childhood.
The NickSplat channel will cost $5.99 a month. However, NickSplat will be included in VRV’s premium bundle for $9.99 a month. You can check out the entire lineup of Nickelodeon shows included within NickSplat here. But here’s the current breakdown of shows offered:
- Angry Beavers (1 Season)
- Are You Afraid of the Dark? (2 Seasons)
- Clarissa Explains it All (1 Season)
- ChalkZone (2 Seasons)
- Hey Dude (1 Season)
- Wild Thornberries (1 Season)
- Aahhh Real Monsters! (2 Seasons)
- CatDog (1 Season)
- Doug (2 Seasons)
- Rocko’s Modern Life (2 Seasons)
- All That (1 Season)
- The Amanda Show (1 Seasons)
- KaBlam! (1 Season)
- Nick Arcade (1 Season)
- The Mystery Files of Shelby Woo (2 Seasons)

- Kenan & Kel (1 Season)
- Double Dare 2000 (1 Season)
- Legend of the Hidden Temple (1 Season)
- Guts (1 Season)
You can get more information on VRV itself at the platform’s site here. It sounds as though the plan is for NickSplat to offer a couple of seasons of their various shows and rotate them in and out over an unspecified schedule, with more shows joining the mix as time progresses. Just because your favorite shows aren’t there now (Rugrats, Ren & Stimpy, Hey Arnold!, etc.) doesn’t mean that they won’t be joining the network further down the line.
VRV is streamable through a number of devices, including PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Apple TV, Roku, Fire TV, Android TV, Chromecast, and on Android and iOS devices. If you’re the type that loves nostalgia, it certainly sounds as though Nickelodeon’s NickSplat could be right up your alley.
