Twilight Zone Cast Adds John Cho, Jacob Tremblay and Allison Tolman

It appears as though CBS isn’t holding anything back when it comes to their upcoming Twilight Zone reboot. Led creatively by Jordan Peele, the Twilight Zone cast continues to impress with each expansion. And the latest includes a trio of big names in John Cho, Jacob Tremblay, and Allison Tolman.

Cho you surely recognize from his early efforts in the American Pie movies (credited as “MILF Guy” in the first 2) as well as his starring roles in the Harold & Kumar stoner flicks. He has dozens of movies under his belt, but his biggest role to date is likely that of Sulu in the rebooted Star Trek films.

The young Jacob Tremblay has also been added to the Twilight Zone cast. Tremblay came into prominence for his acclaimed performance in 2015’s Room alongside Captain Marvel herself, Bree Larson. Larson won the Oscar for Best Actress that year, but Tremblay earned himself some hardware too. Including several Best Actor nods and quick a few acknowledging the actor’s breakthrough performance.

The third Twilight Zone cast addition is that of Allison Tolman. While not exactly a household name yet, Tolman has held her own in the industry as well. In the first season of FX’s Fargo, Tolman landed the role of Deputy Molly Solverson. Tolman killed it in the role of the Minnesota police officer. She won the Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Movie/Miniseries at the Critics’ Choice Television Awards and also earned Best Actress nods at both the Emmy Awards and Golden Globes.

The new trio jumping aboard the Twilight Zone cast will all be working together on an episode entitled “Wunderkind”. But that’s all we know about their inclusion to this point. We do know that several other big names have joined the new series though. Kumail Nanjiani jumped aboard a couple of weeks ago. And prior announcement confirmed the inclusion of  Adam Scott and Sanaa Lathan.

CBS All Access is planning to showoff their Twilight Zone cast with a 2019 debut for the show. Jordan Peele is executive producing behind the scenes, and will serve as the show’s iconic narrator as well.
