NOS4A2 TV Series Being Developed by AMC

NOS4A2 by Joe HillSome would say that we are in a renaissance of top-quality TV shows. AMC, most known for The Walking Dead and Breaking Bad, are looking to have another hit on their hands in the form of NOS4A2.

Reported by Deadline, it appears that AMC has begun development of NOS4A2, a supernatural horror series based on the bestselling novel of the same name. It is being produced by Tornante TV(BoJack Horseman) and AMC Studios, but they are still looking for a writer for the adaptation.

The NOS4A2 book was written by Joe Hill, who is known for his previous novel Horns and graphic novel series Lock & Key. It debuted at #5 on the New York Times Best Seller List in 2013.

The novel focuses on Victoria “Vic” McQueen. She’s a young woman with a knack for finding what’s lost. This gift comes at a great cost though as it slowly destroys her mind. While searching for help, she stumbles upon someone else with powers, psychopath Charlie Manx.  He has survived the past century by kidnapping children in his 1938 Rolls-Royce Wraith (license plate: NOS4A2) and draining them of their souls so that he may live forever young.  Manx ends up kidnapping Vic’s own son, causing her to do the impossible to get him back.

If that sounded like something you would want to read, you can go ahead and find a copy of the NOS4A2 book here.  Additionally, if you fancy comic books or just want a well-written, lovecraftian tale, check out Lock & Key.
