Two Worlds 3 Announced and Two Worlds 2 Improved

It’s a good day to be a fan of Two Worlds. Years after its release, Two Worlds 2 is getting new DLC with an updated engine. Even better, Two Worlds 3 was announced as well!

The announcement comes from developer TopWare Interactive’s official Facebook page. Due to the great success of the first two titles, development has just begun on the third. Two Worlds 3 is still in the concept stage, but it is scheduled for development over the next three years.

In the meantime, fans of Two World 2 have a lot to look forward to. First off, the game’s engine is getting a major overhaul. Details on the character models and landscape have been enhanced to make the game more beautiful than ever!

Additional content is on the way too. For multiplayer, you’ll be getting eight new maps. For single-player, two large DLCs are coming called Call of the Tenebrae and Shattered Embrace.

Call of the Tenebrae is scheduled to release by the end of Q2 2016 and it will take the Hero back to Antaloor. Upon his arrival, he witnesses the murder of DarPha at the hands of the rat-like creatures known as “The Chosen.” Using their never-before-seen magic, they threaten every life in Antaloor and you’re the only one standing in their way. For more details, check out the official website.

If you love giant, open-world RPGs, we suggest you check out Two Worlds 2. Because of its age, you can find it pretty cheap here. With the game getting a major overhaul, and Two Worlds 3 in development, now seems like the best time to jump right in.
