19 Super Easy Ways to Farm WoW Gold in 9.0

With the recent release of World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, there’s no denying that the economy has changed drastically. Not only is the change driven by the massive influx of players returning to the game (or just new players in general), but many of the expansion’s new mechanics have changed the WoW gold-making landscape.

The economy is strong for those looking to make some gold, thanks to players picking up new professions, endgame crafting, and the general laziness of most players (it’s okay, sometimes just spending your gold is easier than farming that rare pet on your own). Of course, it also helps that professions started to work entirely different with Legion, and now that players are starting to hit that max level, more players are going to be shifting their focus on leveling their crafting soon, with the casual players likely hitting max level soon.

Of course, that only means great things for those looking to make some quick WoW gold right now. One of the great things about World of Warcraft is that there are so many ways to make gold that it never grows tiresome. Especially if you’re a player like myself, who can play the game on one monitor and finally get around to watching Penny Dreadful on the other (we’re on episode 5, for the record). So if you’re looking for some rather mindless and quick ways to become wealthy in World of Warcraft, here are 19 easy ways to farm WoW gold in Shadowlands:

Shadowlands BoE Farming

With the launch of the Shadowlands expansion, BOEs are going to make you the most gold right now. There are some important points in making BOE farm runs, though. The most important of these is that you should have a Druid or Shaman to farm (or you can easily farm with a Demon Hunter (Vengeance)). So why these three classes? Because in a party of 4 people, 1 healer and 1 tank are required, and they are generally the two most difficult classes (because, you know, everyone wants to DPS all day). The Druid tank and Shaman tank are of vital importance because the mobs in the area that I will recommend are hyper-spawn. Drops in the range of 190-200-207-213 ilvl will usually drop from the BOE farms. The maximum value of any drop you drop will be between 50k gold and 200k gold.

Here’s where to farm BOEs in the Shadowlands expansion:

Maldraxxus

maldraxxus boe

This zone is currently a BOE farming place not nerfed by Blizzard. The basic need here is a Druid character. You can join the parties either as a Tank Guardian or as a Balance Druid. Again, the important trick is to be able to deal area damage by using the “Stellar Drift” spell of the Balance Druid. You should definitely remember that the faster you kill the slots, the faster you will get the drops.

Ardenweald

ardenweald boe

Another region I can recommend is at an extremely interesting point. To reach where you can see it on the map, you first need to buy a Goblin Glider Kit from the Auction House. After purchasing, you jump to the furthest point of the point I show on the map with the arrow and use the Goblin Glider Kit.

This method of travel will allow you to get where you need to go to start farming at your heart’s content. Depending on the speed of your farming group, it should drop every 1 hour and 30 minutes on average. Don’t give up.

Castle Nathria

In my opinion, the best gold farming technique in the game right now is farming BOEs in Castle Nathria. However, the most important point for this is that your character must have a high ilvl. Since we will farm raid as normal and heroic, it will drop 3 BOEs in each turn. Again, the other point to note here is that if you do not get drops, your 1 hour will be completely wasted. But if you farm 3 or 4 times a day, you will get at least one drop. This means you should snag between 100-250k gold per day.

The choice for BOE depends entirely on your style of play. Good Luck.

A Classic Recommendation: Consumables Supply

It’s time for one of the most unchanging gold tactics in World of Warcraft history. Selling items needed by Raid and Mythic+ guilds at high prices on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

So how do we do that? First of all, what we need is some gold (30-60k), if we do not have the gold, a 3-4 hour flower farm will be enough to get the gold. Let’s walk through our first scenario for now. The first thing we need to do is check the prices on your server. For example, I want to sell Spectral Flask of Power and Spectral Flask of Stamina on my server. By examining the data of your server in UndermineJournal, you decide when to buy and when to sell by looking at the “Pricing Heat Map” details of the product you will sell. For example, my server is on Drakt’hul, and on Sundays and Mondays, there is a cross between 100-120 gold per item.

I make my purchases on Sundays and Mondays, and sell on Wednesdays and Thursdays (when the week is the highest). Remember, the profit we will make from this will only be from one product.

If you expand your product range, the amount of profit you will make will increase.

Let’s get to the second scenario. If you have no gold, the most important thing you can do is learn the Herbalism and Alchemy professions. (We will explain the details of this professions more clearly in Part 3). With zero cost, you can turn the flowers you collect by performing herbalism into flasks and sell them. Boom, profit, my guy!

Professions Part 1: Herbalism, Alchemy (Check Part 2) – Skinning, Leatherworking – Mining, Blacksmithing

Everything we will explain in this section is for preparation for parts 4 and 5. Right now, it is difficult to farm any amount of gold by farming flower, mine, or leather. The reason for this is that almost five months have passed since Shadowlands’ release. But let’s take a look at where you can build material farms in a simple way.

Maldraxxus – Marrowroot, Oxxein Ore

maldraxxus marrowroot oxxein ore

Bastion – Rising Glory, Solenium Ore

Ardenweald – Vigil’s Torch, Phaedrum Ore

Revendreth – Widowbloom, Sinvyr Ore

ravendreth widowbloom sinvyr ore

Nightshade – The Maw

Skinning – Bastion

skinning bastion

My advice to farm for skinning here is to do it together with World Quests or Daily Quests. Because, while everyone is doing their quests, you will be able to get the skins of the dead mobs. You can collect 1300 Desolate Leather, 65 Callous Hide, 35 Heavy Desolate Leather, 15 Heavy Callous Hide per hour until the quest is over.

** In general I wanted to express to you the best gathering places here. Likewise, for skinning, I recommend that you follow the World Quest or Daily Quest points every day. Other than that, Skinning will not be fully profitable.**

Herbalism will be a bridge for those who are starting the game from scratch. Those who have zero gold can continue to use the gold tactics in other sections after storing a certain amount.

Part 2: Legendary Item Crafting

It’s the Shadowlands expansion pack’s most comfortable (but expensive) gold-winning tactic. What we will do here is primarily for players who have already raised a certain amount of gold through BoE or normal farms.

As we mentioned in chapter 3, many collecting professions were a bridge for us to reach our actual gold earnings. The professions we’ll talk about here are Blacksmithing and Leatherworking, as they’re the most lucrative for Shadowlands.

To unlock Legendary Items in this profession, you need to complete a small and easy questline by unlocking Torghast and The Maw. If you have started the Torghast questline, you can go to Runecarver and get the recipes for Legendary Items in whichever profession you want to produce in a simple way.

I would like to share one more important point with you: any character who becomes Level 50 must have the Enchanting profession in Shadowlands. If you’ve done all this and you’re ready, let’s get started!

The first thing we need to do is to maximize our Blacksmithing profession. If you want, you can use addons such as Zygor to increase your profession level very easily and at a low cost. Now, let’s get to what we will produce. The main product we will produce is Shadowghast Pauldrons, which probably has the highest sales rate on your server.

shadowghast pauldrons

As you can see, these are the materials you will need (Shadowghast Ingot, Enchanted Elethium Bar, Luminous Flux, and Orboreal Shard). The most important tip we can give you is to start stocking these products on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Because Torghast rewards are renewed weekly on Tuesdays, anyone who wants to upgrade their Legendary Items will go to the AH to buy on Tuesday.

In fact, if you want to make even more profit, you can produce the four materials needed to produce a Legendary Item one by one. This will leave you more profit, but will also increase the time you have to devote to the game.

You will be able to stack gold by collecting the production materials on the days I recommend and selling them at higher than average prices within 24 hours on Tuesday. The other most important trick is to get rid of your Rank 1s, even at a loss. Your actual profit margin will increase with Rank 3 and Rank 4. Rank 2 will ensure that your investment will return to you. For a full profit, you must sell Rank 3 and Rank 4. You can make a profit of 18-30k per product.

LeatherWorking – BoneShatter Pauldrons

Everything I write for Blacksmithing applies to Leatherworking as well. However, BoneShatter production and development require a large deposit of gold. For this, you need to have a certain amount of gold stacked away and ready to spend (remember, sometimes you have to spend money to make money). Before I forget, I have to remind you that the Enchanting profession of a character above level 50 should be active.

boneshatter pauldrons

As you can see in the table, BoneShatter Pauldrons are a Legendary Item, which uses extremely expensive materials. However, it is also very pricey to sell. To invest at this point, you need to have 500k gold in the corner. If you have gold that can achieve this, your weekly profit can reach 200-300k gold. (Another important point: If your covenant is Night Fae, you can buy Orboreal Shards for 25 gold discount by the reputation of “The Wild Hunt” region. If Kyrian is in “The Ascended” area.)**Do not forget that the most important point in this profession is to obtain production materials cheaply and to increase our profit rate tremendously. Only in this way can you make a net profit.

Part 3: Inscription (Missives)

missives

Our suggestions for making gold with Shadowlands professions are to sell by producing Missives with the Inscription profession. This production is a slightly more costly method of earning gold compared to our Part 2 method.

All you need is to bring the Inscription profession to the full level. After that, all you need is 28.6 DeathBlossom and 2.86 Nightshade. These materials are the number of flowers you need to produce only 1 missive. You transform flowers into Luminous Ink, Umbral Ink, Tranquil Ink materials through your profession. You can also produce these transforming materials through your profession and sell the price you want on your server, which will also make you a buttload of gold (see Underminejournal Missive).

The most important of the tricks here is to buy and produce on certain days of the week (on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays) or when the price of flowers and production materials on your server is the lowest.

The second important tip is this; players who want to upgrade their Legendary Items purchase Missives. These players also make big purchases only on Tuesday and Wednesday. It will be better and faster for you to sell your produce these days because the Torghast Tower missions are refreshed every Tuesday, and players can access their Soul Ashes.

Old Lands – Skinning and Transmog

It is still possible to earn gold by farming in some old expansions. All you have to do is go to the area I marked on the map and get Warbear Leather and Rugged Leather by skinning. Warbear Leather will leave the highest profit. You have the opportunity to get 15-18k gold per hour.

warbear farm

If you are on a low population server, the sales may take some time. If you want to speed up the sales, you can also sell by producing the Warbear Woolies transmog. This method is still used by many people. About a few months ago, I farmed here and sold the skins per 370 gold. Good Luck.

Crafter’s Mark II

Crafter’s Marks are scrolls that raise the rare 151 ilvl items to 168. The reason why the items you produce sell so much is that players who are new to the game or want to improve their alt-characters, easily get 168 ilvl sets from AH so that they can enter Mythic 0.

In this method, which requires almost no gold savings, all you have to do is to spend some time and effort. What you have to do is raise the Ve’nari Reputation level to Cordial. Only in this way can you reach the recipe. When you reach the recipe, I can guarantee that you can sell 5 to 10 times more than your production cost. In fact, this method is still one that I use from time to time.

To buy this item, you need Cordial or higher reputation with Ve’nari. Remember, you get reputation by doing weekly quests, killing rares, and doing events – so go hang out with the Ve’nari for a bit!

Revendreth Skinning Farm

ravendreth skinning farm

You can farm mobs in the Revendreth Dredhollow area by skinning them. I recommend having a 180 ilvl character so that you can kill mobs quickly and easily. You have a chance to get 10k-18k gold per hour, depending on your killing speed. Please check the skin prices on your server before coming to this farm area. If the AH prices of skins are lower than other regions, you can choose another farm place.

**The hourly yield of this farm is roughly 1000+ Desolate Leather, 13 Heavy Callous Hide, 70 Callous Hide, 30 Heavy Desolate Leather, and 150 Pallid Bone**

Preparation for Shadowlands 9.1 (Huge profit)

The 9.1 patch was announced at Blizzcon. It will be released within the next 2 months. Until the upcoming patch is released, you should definitely spend some time to make some gold with the gold farming methods we recommend. When Shadowlands 9.1 drops, your gold will multiply by 2x or even 3-5x. So what needs to be done?

It is time to face Sylvanas Windrunner, which many players have been waiting for. This showdown brings 4 Bosses after her in a new Raid. A new Raid adventure means that many professional Guilds and players spend hundreds, thousands on pots, flasks, materials, and the like. Naturally, rapidly exhausting products will create a price increase in the auction house. This is where our stock sales, which we prepared for months in advance, will come into play.

Silks and mines such as Elethium Ore, Sinvyr Ore, Selenium Ore, Oxxein Ore, which are useful for producing Flower, Pot, Flask, Legendary Items farmed right up until the date of launch of 9.1, will be our main sales products. **Main Products We Will Stock: Spectral Flask of Power, Spectral Flask of Stamina, Sinvyr Ore, Lightless Silk**

For the flasks, you can make your sales at a low price, if you have time for the game, you can also stock up the flowers you collect through your Herbalism profession.

Note: If you have more time to spare for the game, you can produce food by Cooking and Fishing. The prices of their meals will increase considerably, and you can actually make some decent gold by selling your fellow players some bussin’ meals (Like the Tenebrous Crown Roast).

Old Lands Part 2: Pandaria Raw Gold (15-20k per hour)

In the history of World of Warcraft, the only thing that will never get old and inexhaustible are the mounts. Whichever expansion comes, the farming of the materials used to obtain the mount will always remain as a means of earning gold. Now let’s get to what we have to do. First of all, you need to fly to the area I marked on the map. Since we do not need a Pathfinder to fly in Pandaria, it will be a very easy transportation. However, when you arrive in the area, you will fall to the ground because there is no flying, if you experience this, you have come to the right place.

What You Need To Farm: Giant Dinosaur Bone, Zandalari Toenbbler, etc.

After farming is over, you can sell anything except the Giant Dinosaur Bone to the NPC. However, sell Bone by adding it to AH for a price of 2 gold or more. (My server is also 2.16g) Average Price is between 1.5 and 3 gold on my server, which is decent, but if your server has even a slightly higher price, your profit can go up to 20k-30k gold.

Farm Rotation

Battle for Azeroth Mount Farm

With the arrival of Shadowlands, our item level has increased considerably, allowing us to now dominate Battle for Azeroth mobs. This means that we can easily farm many mobs that we have to kill thousands of times in order to get the mounts in the BFA.

Goldenmane’s Reins (165k-250k gold)

This mount drops from the Drowned Hierarch and Foreman Scripps mobs on the Stormsong Valley map. You can check the map below so that you can find it more comfortably.

Reins of a Tamed Bloodfeaster (60-70k gold)

Again, we will farm on the Nazmir map for the mount, which is easy to drop like the others. You will try to get drops by killing Nazmani Blood Witch, Blood Witch Najima mobs in the area I marked.

Farming Stormscale (or Stonehide Leather)

legion goldmaking

Farming mats has never been easier, and it’s always a great way to make quick gold in WoW when a new expansion comes out. With most new players focusing on leveling to 110 as fast as they can, that means they aren’t focusing on their professions. What’s more, once they hit max level and start focusing on their professions, they’re going to try and get from 1-800 as quickly as possible. Where are they going to get all those mats? The auction house, of course!

The two essential mats to farm with Legion are Stormscale and Stonehide Leather, both of which you farm with skinning. Stormscale and Stonehide Leather are essential materials for leatherworkers (starting at 700), who want to craft rare and epic mail gear like Battlebound Girdles, Hauberks, Girdles, and Leggings. They’re also used in Engineering to craft the Bolt-Action Headgun, Blacksmithing for Demonsteel Armguards, and Stormscale can be transmuted to herbs or ore with Alchemy.

Where to Farm

making wow gold in legion

There are many great places to farm Stormscale, and there is certainly no shortage of mobs in The Broken Isles that provide Stormscale. But, in my experience, the best place to farm it in Highmountain. More specifically, there’s a great spot right outside of Thunder Totem’s flightpath called Earthmother’s Bounty that has a plethora of Overgrown Larva that each drop 2-3 with each skin. These Overgrown Larvas are a part of a quest (“Infestation” and “Critical Crops”), so there will be other players there killing them as well. These mobs respawn quickly (after 15 or so seconds), and that means you’ll have no shortage of them to skin. Plus, other players will help kill them down for quicker skinning. In 40 minutes, you’ll have a stack of 200 without any problems.

For Stonehide Leather, it’s so widely available that nailing down a prime spot for it isn’t really necessary. Virtually any beast in WoW will drop Stonehide Leather. However, if you’re already in Highmountain, one of the best spots is in the Witchwoods and Cliff’s Edge (around coordinates 36.0, 37.5) where you’ll find tons of Bristlefur Bears and Spinetusk Piglets. Kill ’em in groups, and skin away. They’ll typically drop 4-7 leathers each (and you’ll come away with some vendor trash and meats for cooking as well).

How Much Stormscale and Stonehide Leather Sell For

Obviously, this will vary per server, and I highly recommend you do some research before you just blindly dive in. But on my server (Whisperwind), Stormscales typically sell for 20g each in the mornings and around 30-35g during primetime (about 9PM ET). So for that stack of 200 that took you 40 minutes, you can easily earn an average of 5,000 gold, and I’ve sold full stacks for 7K before (you just have to catch buyers at the right time when there isn’t any cheaper in the auction house).

Stonehide isn’t quite as lucrative because it’s easier to come by, but it’s close, and again, it depends on your server’s economy. On my server, they min at 17g and max at 25g each.

This is, by far, the quickest gold earner right now, as you will typically sell your hides and scales within an hour or so of posting them.

Farming Legion’s Rare Pets

legion battle pets

Another super quick and easy way to make gold in Legion is to capitalize on the brand new wave of new pets. Some of these pets are more lucrative than others, but if you have a particularly lazy server, you can easily make 4K gold in minutes if you’re lucky.

For example, check out the Crispin pet, which drops from Tenpak Flametotem, a rare silver mob in Highmountain. He spawns at 42.0, 41.6, and he has a 7% chance to drop Crispin, an all-black squirrel pet. 7% might not seem like a big enough number to go seek him out, but I’ll note that a) he respawns quickly and b) it’s best to farm with a friend as to increase your kill rate and split the earnings. Crispin sells for a min of 2K gold and I’ve seen it go for up to 5.5K gold (check your server to see if it’s worth it). Cage this pet when you get it, and make sure you’re slightly undercutting the low.

There are also some request reward pets that you can cage and sell, like the Untethered Wyrmling that’s a reward from the “Balance to Spare” quest in Suramar. The Untethered Wyrmling sells for much more than Crispin, but unfortunately, it’s a one-time deal (unless you have multiple characters over level 100, of course. On my server, the low is 5.5K and the high is 9K.

There’s also the Lurking Owl Kitten that’s the reward for completing a small quest chain in Suramar starting with “Feline Frantic”. It can be caged and sold for ~3K.

Even more lucrative than all three of those is Grumpy, a big pitbull-esque dog battle pet that sells for well over 10K. Again, it’s a one-time thing without multiple characters, and it’ll likely take a few weeks to actually sell it. But, it’s there. You get it from completing the “Grumpy” quest found in Heathrow Manor near Black Rook Hold, Val’sharah. Super easy to get, and the reward is well worth it.

Leatherworking in Legion is Ridiculously Lucrative

legion leatherworking gold

Professions in Legion are super lucrative compared to past expansions because of the changes made. Now, you have to level up your individual recipes (with level 2 and level 3), and to do so, it takes a lot of time and energy. But it’s definitely worth it in the long run, and by the time you’re around level 105ish, you should have plenty of options for making gold with leatherworking, especially. You can craft the Warhide Jerkin, with the chance of creating epic versions. They require 16 Stormhide leather each, and you have about a 3 out of 10 chance of getting epics. Of course, after you’ve geared yourself out with it, you can craft them to sell. In my experience, you can sell these epic Warhide Jerkins (whatever version you get) for anywhere from 900g to 1300g frequently. Put three epics in the auction house (along with the blues you created when trying to get epics), and you’ll more than likely sell all three; I rarely have trouble selling all of them.

Battlebound Spaulders are also great moneymakers in my experience, but they require 18 Stormscale (which, if you’re buying the raw materials from the auction house makes it more expensive). Still, you can easily get 1200g per epic creation, and if you’re using all of your recipes to put your eggs in more than just one basket, it’s a great way to rake in the dough with very little effort.

Pricing is very volatile at the moment, so you really have to pay attention to the auction house and market prices. Luckily, thanks to the WoW Companion App, you can do so wherever you are.

Forging Obliterum

Obliterum forge wow gold

Obliterum sells for roughly 9K-11k gold on my server. Again, results may vary, so please check your auction house prices before doing it.

To get it, you’ll need to grab and complete the extensive quest chain given to you by Oxana Demonslay in the Underbelly (under Dalaran) that will result in the building of your own Obliterum forge.

Once the forge is available to you, the fun begins.

Buy Stormhide Leather in the auction house if you have the funds, which you’ll then use to craft Warhide Pants (the investment will more than pay for itself on most servers). Otherwise, go farming for a few hours — also well worth it. You’ll need roughly 400 leathers to get 1 obliterum. So, if you catch your Stormhide leather at its lowest (typically 17g) you can get what you need for 6.8K gold.

Craft all of the Warhide Pants you can with that leather, obliterate each item, giving you around 3.5-3.8 ashes each. 100 ashes = 1 obliterum. Once you get the obliterum, sell it on the auction house when it’s at its highest. Boom. Profit.

This obviously works best at a higher production scale. So, getting multiple Obliterums at a time results in the highest profit. Of course, you’ll need the startup capital to do so, which isn’t an issue in Legion and would take you only a couple of days at most.

Farming Shal’dorei Silk and Transmogs at the same time.

Wow Gold Farming Legion

Finally, like leather, Shal’dorei silk is a great item to farm. But on top of the crafting materials you’ll get, you also have a chance to get transmog items (that can sell for a pretty penny thanks to the influx of players coming with Legion).

One of the best Shal’dorei Silk farming spots is in Aszuna towards its center near Narthaes Academy, where you’ll take on a plethora of murlocs. With the Boon of the Scavenger shoulder enchant equipped, gather up all of the murlocs you can and AOE DPS them down quickly. Most will drop 3-5 Shal-dorei Silk. Loot, rinse, repeat.

Sell your silk on the auction house when there isn’t much competition, and you should get around 17-20g each. Boom. Profit.

Harvester Shoulder Enchant

One of the (eventually) effortless ways to get some solid gold flow is by using the Harvester shoulder enchant sold by Sylvia Harshorn, the Dreamweaver Emissary located in Val’sharah. It’s called Boon of the Harvester, and it costs just 100g. You have to be honored with Dreamweavers in order to purchase it, but that is achieved easily enough with quests and daily world quests.

The Boon of the Harvester will enchant your shoulders with “Harvester”, which will allow the wearer to obtain Harvested Goods from their dead enemies. Typically, you get 3-4 of these Harvested Goods a day, and these goods are Legion herbs and fish. While you might scoff at fish and herbs and they might not seem of much use to you at first glance, note that each of the high level fish and herbs sell for some high amounts of gold, and you get two stacks of 10-30+ of the various fish, herbs, and even Starlight Rose (sells for 180g+ each right now).

You can also then use these fish to cook the highest level food if your cooking is up to par, allowing you to make even more gold.

There are other boons that you can purchase for other easy finds, such as Boon of the Butcher (gets you Stonehide leather, Stormscale, various meats, animal crafting reagents, and felhide) or Boon of the Manaseeker (great for enchanters as you can get Arkhana, Leylight Shards, Chaos Crystals, and potions/flasks). To find all of the boons currently available, check out the comments section on Wowhead.

Leystone Ore Farming

Leystone Ore is used in many professions, and even though earning your Broken Isles flying mount is an absolute bitch (in fact, we don’t even recommend doing it at this point), you can still rake in some significant gold by mining it and selling it.

First, make or pick-up Leystone Hoofplates, which gives your mount 20% higher speed for 2 hours (if you’re a blacksmith, it’s 4x faster). It’s worth it. There’s also a Legion Mining Glove enchant that increases your mining speed to make the process even faster.

The best spot for Leystone Ore farming is in Val’Sharah, starting at the Temple of Elune and making your way mostly around the edge of the map, along waterways. Leystone Ore galore.

Another great spot is located in Azsuna just north of the Nar’Thalas Academy where you’ll find massive numbers of Lagoon Basilisks that respawn quickly. These basilisks are able to be mined once killed (instead of skinned), resulting in a steady stream of Leystone. What’s more, they respawn quickly.

For miners are those looking for ore, pick up the Boon of the Salvager enchant from Valdemar Stormseeker in Stormheim. You’ll be able to acquire Salvaged Armor while farming, which will contain Felslate or Leystone Ore.

How much does Leystone Ore sell for? Well, that depends on your server of course, so we recommend heading to your server’s auction house (or pull up your app) to gauge the price. On my server, Leystone Ore stays at a steady 20.8g per ore, and unlike leathers, scales, and cloth, it has remained at over 20g since the Legion launch.

Foxflower Farming, or Maybe Other Herbs, But Seriously, Foxflower

WoW players are undeniably lazy (I’m one of them), and many don’t like farming herbs. Foxflower, at least on my server, ranges from 50g-90g each, and you can get a decent amount of them every day by farming it specifically, or farming mobs with the Harvester shoulder enchant.

Unfortunately, it’s not super easy to come by, but the good news is you’ll also get Blood of Sargeras (which you’ll soon be able to trade in when 7.1 drops). Foxflower is found in Highmountain, and although the zone has a lot of verticality to it, you’ll still come away with a decent stack, unless someone else is farming there, too. Then, you’re screwed.

For Foxflower farming, you’re basically going to want to go all over the zone, as there really isn’t a great route for it. I tend to start at Thunder Totem and work my way around it, then north through Skyhorn, then through the cave to Cliff’s Edge, and back down through Trushot Lodge and back to Thundertotem. It’s a solid route, but farm the areas you find easiest to maneuver.

For another good route, check out the YouTube video above from Studen Albatroz.

Bonus: Buy X Low, Sell X High

When it comes down to it, you can always go by the age old business saying, “Buy low, sell high”. Pay attention to the auction house and see when items sell at their lowest, and snatch them up to then turn around and sell for a profit when they typically sell for their highest. There are many helpful addons to help you pay attention to the markets and list items in bulk on the auction house, including TradeSkillMaster, Trade Forwarder (so you can monitor the Trade chat while farming), and Auctionator, all of which can be found on the Curse website (or in the Curse app).

Bonus: Addons that are recommended to use

First of all, you need to install Curse Forge on your computer. After installing, you can find and install addons from the search section. All of these addons will help you with farming and AH.

  • Faster Loot: As the name suggests, it loots very fast.
  • GatherMate2-Gathermate2 Data
(Displays flowers and mines in minimap, works very well with farmhud)
  • LootAppraiser
