February is here, and that means that it’s time for another Valentine’s Day. We’re no strangers to love (count it as a Rick Roll, if you’d like), and even some of our favorite nerdy movies revolve around two characters in live. Harry Potter, Star Wars, and The Nightmare Before Christmas are just a few of our favorite movies that have love entangled all up in them.
So, of course, when V-Day comes around, we start thinking about love in a different way. We’re not about buying roses, chocolates and teddy bears with hearts on them. No, we’re better than that. We look for new nerdy Valentine’s Day gifts that tell our soul mates we love them in our own way.
So if you’re looking to stay away from the cliché, check out these 14 cool nerdy Valentine’s Day gifts for your significant other:
1. 8-bit Legendary Hero Heat Change Mug
If you’re not looking to spend all of your rupees on one big gift, check out this 8-Bit Legendary Hero Heat-Change Mug. If they frequently drink coffee or tea, and are absolutely in love with all things Zelda, this mug is perfect. As the mug heats up, the life hearts on its side fill up. When it cools back down, the hearts drain, as if your life has been taken from you as the coffee has gotten cold. If they’re a gamer, this heat changing mug is one of the best of the cheap nerd gifts for V-Day.
