Every time we see see gameplay of Doom, we get more excited. Luckily, starting next week we will all have the chance to play with the Doom open beta.
On April 15, you’ll be able to play this multiplayer-focused beta to your heart’s content until it ends on April 18. Just like the recent closed beta, you can try out Team Deathmatch and Warpath using either the Heatwave or Infernal maps.
Additionally, Bethesda has announced that the game will receive free DLC as well as paid content packs after the game has launched.
For free, Doom will receive numerous updates to multiplayer and the user creation mode, SnapMap. This free content includes new game modes, AI adjustments, and map modules.
Three paid content packs will be available after launch for $15 each. To give you an idea of what to expect, these are the current details of the first pack:
