Project Cars 2 Rallycross Mode Announced

It looks like Project Cars 2 is going to see some interesting additions to the first game in the series.

This morning, Bandai Namco announced that they will partner with OMSE rallycross for their upcoming racing game to add a Rallycross mode, celebrating action-packed motorsports for those thrill-seekers out there.

The mode will have closed courses containing 70-foot jumps and other obstacles, and the mode will feature a number of licensed cars and tracks. In the new trailer released by Bandai this morning, we’re shown a tricked-out Honda Civic Coupe, a Volkswagen Polo RX, and even aFord Focus RS RX rally car in action.

You can watch the official Rallycross gameplay trailer above, and if it’s anything to go by, expect some impressive visuals in Project Cars 2 when it launches later this year on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

We recently learned that the game will also be available in 12K resolution and will have VR capabilities. It will contain over 170 cars and more than 60 different tracks, and it will also have an online championships game mode, and on top of its Rallycross mode, it will also have ice, dirt, snow, and mud racing.
