For all you Halo fans, you may have had a hard time trying to follow the complete lore. Not only are there the highly successful Xbox games, but there are novels, comics, and live-action features as well.
Today, on the Halo Waypoint blog, 343 Studios announced a new hardcover book titled Halo Mythos: A Guide to the Story of Halo. This isn’t just a Halo encyclopedia. Instead, it is a detailed walkthrough of the expanded Halo fiction. The book will span from the Forerunner’s conflict with ancient humanity through recently released Halo 5: Guardians.
All previous stories will be interconnected across one continuous narrative. This will help tie together characters, artifacts, and events that many have missed out on by only playing the games.
Even more enticing is that 50 new pieces of artwork will be included alongside the text. The art will come from a number of unique artists who will help bring to life certain events that fans have only read about.
For new and old fans alike, Halo Mythos is sounding like a must-have item for a comprehensive look at the expanded lore. Here’s hoping that future games, novels, and more will be released as sequels to Mythos.
