Bloodline Actor Kyle Chandler To Be In Godzilla: King of Monsters

According to Variety, actor Kyle Chandler (Bloodline) will be joining Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things) in the sequel to the 2014 Godzilla reboot movie, Godzilla: King of the Monsters. Chandler will be playing the part of Brown’s father, though no further plot details have been revealed about the upcoming 2019 movie. The actor is also recently “coming off Netflix’s second season of “Bloodline, which is about to go into its third and final season of production.”Bloodline Actor Kyle Chandler To Be In Godzilla: King of Monsters

Michael Dougherty (Krampus) will be the director of King of the Monsters, with a script written by Zach Shields. Although this film is to be a sequel, it is rumored that only Ken Watanabe will be returning as Dr. Ishiro Serizawa.

Following King of Monsters release on March 22nd, the third sequel will come the subsequent year on May 29th, 2020. Furthermore, according to Variety, “Legendary and Warner Bros. announced in late 2015 that all future “King Kong” and “Godzilla” films would be developed by Legendary and distributed by Warner Bros., starting with “Kong: Skull Island” in March. Legendary currently holds a distribution deal with Universal, but in order to re-team Godzilla and King Kong, the studio returned the rights to WB.”
