In response to Screenrant’s report that the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will have four post-credit scenes, writer and director James Gunn tweeted that not only will there be four, but five. The fifth will be reserved for the very end of the credits, and the other four will be during the closing credits. This marks the most post-credit scenes in a Marvel movie to date.
Indeed, it was none too recently that Gunn implied that there would be more to the post-credit scenes than is usual for most Marvel films. Besides giving us a few amusing and fun clips of our favorite characters, there will be more than one hint towards future movies and scenarios. Gunn seems all too excited about them too, stating that these scenes will include the “biggest visual effect of all time.”
Basically, stay in your seat for the post-credit scenes, they will be worth your time. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will in theatres come May 5 of this year, so be sure to catch that amazing visual effect.
Admittedly, the post-credit scenes from Marvel aren’t exactly world changing, though I will never forget seeing Loki on Odin’s throne. Or all of the Avengers silently eating Shawarma. So I definitely look forward to what is so apparently mind-blowing about these five.
