The Killing Joke’s Joker To Be Voiced By Mark Hamill

The Killing JokeWe recently learned that there were two new Batman animated movies in the works: Batman: Bad Blood and The Killing Joke. Now, Collider is reporting that their sources have confirmed that The Joker in The Killing Joke will be voiced by none other than Mark Hamill.

Hamill has previously voiced the Clown Prince of Crime in Batman: The Animated Series as well as the Batman: Arkham video games, including in the recently released and well received Batman: Arkham Knight.

Of course, The Killing Joke is an award-winning graphic novel by Alan Moore and Brian Bolland that basically tells of The Joker’s origin, who tries to breakdown Commissioner Gordon to prove that one bad day is enough to drive any person insane.

This is the first bit of The Killing Joke casting news we’ve received, and hopefully it will be followed soon by a Kevin Conroy as Batman announcement. Still, Hamill reprising his role as the Joker is enough to make us excited about the upcoming animated movie. And, more Batman is always a good thing.
