New Spider-Man Movie Named Spider-Man: Homecoming

Spider-Man: HomecomingSony Pictures has announced the official name of the upcoming Spider-Man movie, which we now know is called Spider-Man: Homecoming.

The announcement was made at CinemaCon by the new Spider-Man, himself, Tom Holland, who we will soon see in Captain America: Civil War.

According to the folks at Sony, Homecoming will focus on Peter Parker’s struggles to balance his vigilantism with his everyday, high school life. The new logo for the film has also been revealed, with the second “o” in homecoming being replaced by the image of Spidey’s mask (which you can see below). There wasn’t a ton of information given, but hopefully we’ll hear more on the upcoming superhero flick soon.

The Spider-Man: Homecoming cast includes, of course, Holland, who will appear alongside Zendaya and Marisa Tomei. We’ll likely hear more casting news soon, with SDCC coming sooner than you might think, and Marvel always saving their juiciest announcements for the show.
