The 2TB Xbox One S is selling out quick! Only recently released, the console has already proven to be hard to find. We hope you already got your hands on one!
Currently, the standard white 2TB Xbox One S is the only new model available at retailers. Although people questioned how it would sell with next year’s Project Scorpio on its way, the console is flying off the shelves. If you haven’t acquired yours already, you may be out of luck. Eurogamer is reporting that Microsoft will not be manufacturing further units.
If you are looking for them to replenish their stocks, you’ll have to wait awhile. A similar version will release in mid-September with the release of the red Gears of War limited edition console.
More From Nerd Much?:
Selling out is bad news for fans, but great news for Microsoft. It’s not yet revealed how many units were actually manufactured. We highly doubt that this is the end of the 2TB Xbox One S, but their may be some time before they can produce enough to replenish stocks. In the meantime, cross your fingers and tap your heels together.
If dreaming isn’t good enough for you, you can always grab the 500GB or 1TB sizes instead. No official release date has been revealed yet, but Amazon suggests an August 23 release date.Get 2TB Xbox One S here.
