Stranger Things Season 2 has been on a lot of our minds lately. After the incredible season first aired on Netflix, we have been craving that second season.
Now it is no secret that Stranger Things was heavily influenced by movies of the 80s like Aliens or The Goonies. That’s why what we are about to share with you is so important. According to Entertainment Weekly, Stranger Things Season 2 will feature three new actors. Two of these actors come from the aforementioned movies.
First up we have Sean Austin (Mikey from The Goonies) playing Bob Newby. As expected, he is playing a character that has been described as “a kindhearted former nerd who went to high school with Joyce (Winona Ryder) and Hopper (David Harbour) and now manages the local Hawkins RadioShack.”
Next we have Paul Reiser (Burke from Aliens). His character is “a high-ranking member within the Department of Energy on a ‘clean-up’ assignment, tasked with containing the events of last year.”
Our last new cast member sounds like she could be this season’s Eleven. Danish actress Linnea Berthelsen plays Roman, “an emotionally damaged, magnetic young woman who suffered a great loss as a child.”
Even this little tidbit of knowledge makes us hyped for Stranger Things Season 2. Will you be watching it next year? You better be.
