Captain America: 75 Heroic Years Special to Have Marvel Announcement

Captain America 75 heroic yearsIt looks like Marvel and ABC have big plans in mind for celebrating Captain America’s 75th anniversary, as ABC will air Marvel’s Captain America: 75 Heroic Years, a one-hour special that salutes the long history of the Avenger.

The special will air on Tuesday, January 19 at 8PM ET. The show will chronicle Steve Rogers’ evolution from 1941 to now, and it will explore the ins and outs of Captain America and how the superhero has changed with the times as he has existed in different eras.

The show will also see the likes of Stan Lee, Joe Quesada, and Louis D’Esposito share a few words about Cap, and we’ll even get quotes from Chris Evans (the actor behind the most recent iteration of Captain America) and Phil Coulson himself (as played by Clark Gregg).

If the special itself isn’t enough to get your blood flowing, Marvel Comics also noted that the company will be making an exclusive announcement during the one-hour event. Could a Captain America game be in our future? (Probably not, but we can dream).

Of course, we’ll see Chris Evans as Steve Rogers return to the big screen when Captain America: Civil War releases on May 6, 2016 (it’s one of our top 25 must see movies of 2016).
