Black Panther Cast to Include Michael B. Jordan

black panther castThe Black Panther cast seems to be growing! Michael B. Jordan is apparently in talks to play a part in Marvel’s upcoming film.

This was confirmed today at Variety. With the director of Creed, Ryan Coogler, helming this movie as well, the decision makes a lot of sense. Since Jordan and Coogler have worked together in the past, the pair already know how to get the best out of each other.

Jordan’s part has yet to be revealed, but hopefully he won’t be playing yet another superhero. He has already play Johnny Storm in Fantastic Four and a young adult with powers in Chronicle. While he has experience with playing a character with powers, we hope this movie really is all about Black Panther.

The movie will focus on T’Challa, the prince of the fictional African nation of Wakanda. After his father’s murder, he must take the mantel as the titular hero. The character, played by Chadwick Boseman, already made his debut in the recently released Captain America: Civil War.

To catch more of the Black Panther cast, we’ll have to be patient. The movie releases on February 16, 2018. We should expect to slowly find out more information as we get closer to that date.
